I completed my PhD at Sciences Po Paris on the 17th of October 2019. My jury was composed of Julia Cagé, Margherita Comola, Roberto Galbiati, Sergei Guriev, Hillel Rapoport and Elena Stancanelli. I now work at the European Parliament as a Policy/Political Advisor. No opinion on this website represent the one of my employer.
I was a PhD student and teaching assistant in the department of Economics and the LIEPP at Sciences Po Paris from September 2017 to September 2019 and my main supervisors were Prof. Roberto Galbiati and Prof. Sergei Guriev. During my PhD I have been a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Columbia University in the City of New York and Stanford University.
My research tries to analyze the impact of immigration in host countries, considering changes in beliefs and perceptions of immigrants. The point is to nuance the discussion surrounding immigration to incorporate, abstracting from the composition of the inflow, differential impacts given the size of the inflow and length of exposure in the host nations. My fundamental research aim is to explain behavioral attitudes and social interactions amongst natives and immigrants drawing to differing economic and social impacts of migrant inflows.
Hence my main research interests lie in Behavioral Economics and Political Economics using tools in applied econometrics.
Prior to this, I followed a year of Graduate studies in Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics and worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Sciences Po Paris. I have also worked for the European Parliament, the Committee of the Regions, the European Investment Bank as well as Capgemini Consulting.
I hold a BSc in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as an MSc in Economics from Sciences Po Paris. Find my professional CV here and my academic CV here.
